MPR’s Site Statistics
July 25, 2012By: Sean Murray
We’re frequently asked about the amount of “hits” our site gets each month. If you know anything about hosting a website, you’ll know that it’s not easy to define what exactly a hit is. But we’re not going to beat around the bush and conclude that since there are so many ways to interpret it, that we’re not going to tell you anything. On the contrary, we’d like to boast it. So here’s a snapshot, with contextual information:
June 2012 Traffic Data for Merchant Processing Resource
| Unique IP hits according to apache server logs | 15,000+ |
| Unique IP visitors according to Clicky stats | 3,644 |
| First time ever visitors according to Clicky stats | 2,781 |
| Total time spent by visitors according to Clicky stats | 295 hours |
If you’re wondering why our server logs reflect vastly inflated figures, it’s because bots such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, and spammers are constantly bombarding our site, as they do to everyone. Clicky automatically parses all the data to exclude non-javascript enabled traffic (bots) and spam bots disguised as users with javascript enabled to provide the best assessment of human visitors.
We’re a content oriented website, a Resource (get it?
) if you will. There aren’t many other dedicated destinations for third party Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) information, but there is clearly a demand for it. In the month of June alone, humans spent 295 hours perusing our data. 2,781 visitors were here for their first time ever. That’s a lot of people, considering the vast majority click around and learn, rather than immediately leave dissatisfied.
So how do we stack up?

When it comes to MCA information, we’re #1 on the web! It’s also worth mentioning that we run the official fan page for the Merchant Cash Advance industry. If you’ve got an interesting article or information that you believe warrants mention on the page, give us a shout. The fan page is currently ranking in the top 10 results of Google search for: Merchant Cash Advance.
In the next month or so, we hope to make an ever bigger footprint, as we currently have a project in development that will be co-ventured with Capital Stack, LLC. We’ll release updates as we see fit. In the meantime, we created this joint video so everyone can wildly speculate on what we’re doing:
